In Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, magic happens every Labor Day weekend.

SUNDANCE started as an annual celebration of love, and that’s what it remains. It is a time of giving, a time when people from all over our community – gay, straight, men, women, black, white, residents, visitors, old and young – come together to share, to celebrate, to give, to take an active part in making our community a better place. Sundance is about the families that we create and nurture. SUNDANCE benefits the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center. Learn more about the work of CAMP Rehoboth here.

By now, most everyone knows that SUNDANCE began as a tenth anniversary celebration for Steve Elkins and Murray Archibald in 1988, planned as a pool party, rained out to become a dance benefit.

The Annual SUNDANCE benefit takes place Saturday and Sunday night of Labor Day weekend at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. We start setting up mid-week (and clean up for days afterwards), so if you find yourself with a spare hour or two, you are welcome to come by the Convention Center and lend a hand. It is that spirit that makes SUNDANCE such a success.
